The Mysterious Yin Corpse Retriever

I am the corpse retriever of the Yellow River's Yin currents, and my family has guarded the river's yin coffin for generations.

Three hundred years ago, my ancestor forged a blood pact with the Mountain God of Changbai Mountain. The Yellow River's dragon qi would nurture the sacred wood that guards the mountain, all to keep the Corpse King of Yin Ridge at bay.

Three hundred years later, the Blood Soul Cult of Yin Mountain has returned. Yin Jiuming draws on the sinister energy of four bloodlines to awaken the ancient Corpse King and destroy the world's sacred ley lines.

I cross Changbai's three passes and nine ridges, summon the Yellow River's currents, unite them with the Yangtze's dragon might, and gather Dongting's lion aura. With all four forces united, I seal the Corpse King beneath the Heavenly Lake.

The Blood Soul Cult's remnants are still at large, and undercurrents stir through the martial world. Miaojiang witchcraft and evil spirits from the Central Plains alike exploit the flaws in the sacred ley lines to wreak havoc.

I carry the bronze bell that guards the river and bring with me the spirit of Changbai's sacred wood. I guard the Yellow River crossing and honor my pact at Dongting.

I guard the sacred ley lines, protect the human world, and strike down sinister forces. In doing so, I earn the name of the corpse retriever.

I, Chen Yan, will guard this world. That is my vow!
