On Day One of the Apocalypse, I Took Out My Boss First

[Apocalypse + Workplace + Satisfying Revenge]

On the third day of the apocalypse, the news keeps repeating the locations of safe zones, and everyone is fleeing.

I grab a fire axe and head back against the flow, to the kindergarten.

Not to save anyone. I just want to hack to death Zheng Jie, the boss who throws her weight around and basks in her own authority!

One swing carves a smile across her face, just right for someone who loves watching the drama unfold. As she stares in shock and panic, I deliver the fatal blow, and a crystal core drops from her head.

“What is this? Is she an alien? No wonder she never acts human.”

System notification: Elite Mean Boss defeated. Ability acquired: [Leadership]

Turns out the strongest thing in the apocalypse is… killing your boss.
