Demon Slayer: I Started Daydreaming After Meeting the Love Hashira

[Surviving takes courage] + [Slightly changing the original characters' deaths] + [Ships may be broken up]

Every time he opened his eyes, Lin Feng thought he was trapped in an incredibly long lucid dream. Whenever he felt something was off, he slapped himself three times a day, trying to slap himself back to reality.

It wasn't until a demon set foot in his little courtyard during his first battle that he finally realized this wasn't a haven from reality, but a world that devoured people.

In the early days, he had no Nichirin Blade and no Breathing Style. All he had was a courtyard full of medicinal herbs, cultivated in his spare time as obsessively as he had once worked in the real world, a silent "brick diary," and a heart hardened by reality.

With a doctor's wits, he set up a Wisteria barrier and fought demons to the death nine times. He survived.

All he wanted was to go home. He needed to see with his own hands whether he was still in reality.

"If I can't go back, then I'll live on."

Lin Feng had once roared in despair and once tried to trap himself with his own blade. At last, in the depths of desperation, he understood:

The homeland he could never return to was where his wandering soul had come to rest!
