The volumes revolve around the **Twenty-Four Chapter Classic**, a secret scripture in twenty-four volumes written by the founding emperor of the Great Jing Dynasty. It contains a map of the empire’s dragon veins, military command tokens, secret strategies for balancing power at court, and bloody evidence of the previous dynasty’s extermination. The volumes are hidden among seven great powers: the imperial palace, feudal princes, aristocratic clans, frontier garrisons, academies, ancient temples, and the martial world.
