[Two Male Leads] [Xianxia] [Original] [Slow Burn]
[Oblivious, fiercely protective Senior Brother × Obsessively Devoted Heavenly Demon Junior Brother]
Lin Jianxue, the handsome young senior brother of Luoxing Abyss, once found a child in the snow and began his life as a parent.
Everyone laughed at how oblivious he was. He couldn’t tell that the young mistress of the Yuewei clan was flirting with him, or that the Buddhist prodigy of Enlightenment had murderous intent behind his flower-plucking smile.
In truth, he simply devoted most of his attention to his junior brother.
He told his master, Yun Zhongzi, “I saw him lying in the snow, barely alive. I couldn’t just leave him there. Since I found him, I have to protect him for a while.”
And in the Golden Core heart-demon illusion, he said, “We cultivators follow our hearts and defy the heavens. If you still can’t suppress the demonic energy in the end, then we’ll die together. That is my path.”
From a lonely child barely alive in the snow to a handsome young man who clung to him every chance he got, Xie Ran had always been the boy who needed his protection in Lin Jianxue’s eyes. He never noticed the feelings growing in the young man’s gaze.
Until Xie Ran’s Heavenly Demon bloodline awakened, sending demonic energy surging into the sky, and the six great sects surrounded the mountain to eliminate the “seed of evil.”
Standing behind him, Xie Ran choked out, “Senior Brother, they all want to kill me. Do you want to kill me too?”
Lin Jianxue drew his sword and stepped in front of him without hesitation. “Your senior brother will protect you.”
