After Lin Wan suffered a car accident, she woke up and found that she had traveled to a strange world of orcs. She was kidnapped by a human slave catcher, and when she was about to be sold, she was replaced by Shuo, an orc from the Snow Wolf tribe, with a precious "fire crystal".
Shuo took her back to the Snow Wolf tribe. Unlike other hostile orcs, Shuo didn't have any ill intentions towards her, and just took care of her silently - giving her food, building a cabin for her, and standing up for her when she was in danger. From her initial fear, Lin Wan gradually discovered that this seemingly ferocious werewolf actually had a clumsy but gentle heart.
Shuo told her that he kept her because she looked at him "not like a beast."
As they get along, feelings gradually develop between the two. But Lin Wan always knew that she did not belong to this world, and Shuo also noticed her hesitation and offered to send her to a safe human tribe. However, when the tiger tribe came to snatch Lin Wan, Shuo stood in front of her and said, "She is mine, whoever touches her will die."
In the end, Lin Wan chose to stay. On that night with flickering fire, Shuo gave her his only precious fire crystal as a token of love, and the two officially became partners.
