Pan Qian Is Reborn with a System

Synopsis: The cycle of reincarnation has collapsed, the Six Paths have fallen, and the flow of fortune between heaven and earth has descended into chaos and decline. Young Pan Qian narrowly survives the massacre that wipes out the small sect she belongs to. Amid a mountain of corpses and rivers of blood, a strange natal magical treasure that had lain dormant inside her since birth suddenly awakens. It turns out to be the broken core of the legendary artifact that upholds the order of heaven and earth: the Six Paths Reincarnation Disk. At the same time, a cold System for Devouring Fortune binds itself to her soul. The System tells her that she is the last Child of Fortune in this world, and that her mission is to repair the Reincarnation Disk and restore the Six Paths. Yet the only way to repair and strengthen it is to devour other people's fortune: their opportunities, fates, talents, and even their slim chances of survival. Armed with such a heaven-defying treasure, she could swiftly rise to the top of the cultivation world, where the weak are prey to the strong. But Pan Qian has a compassion that runs deep in her bones. She cannot bear to see others suffer because of her, much less treat devouring them as a matter of course in her cultivation. Reality, however, gives her no time to hesitate. The three great sacred lands, sworn to uphold the orthodox order of the Heavenly Dao, soon detect the existence of an anomaly through divination. They brand Pan Qian, who can disrupt and devour fortune, an enemy of the Heavenly Dao and a source of calamity, and jointly issue an order to kill her. From then on, Pan Qian is forced onto a path of flight and resistance. The System continually issues missions: devour the fortune core of a secret realm to repair the Heavenly Dao section of the Reincarnation Disk; seize a Child of Destiny's opportunity to unlock a new function of the disk... Every mission means depriving someone else of their right to survive, running counter to her heartfelt wish to protect all living beings.
