The Dao gives birth to One, One gives birth to Two, Two gives birth to Three, and Three gives birth to all things.
Humanity follows the earth, the earth follows heaven, heaven follows the Dao, and the Dao follows nature.
China: I’ve been playing this game of chess for 5,000 years. Sometimes I get so tired I fall asleep, and someone flips the board. I set it up again, and they still have to play with me in earnest, because anyone who refuses gets driven out, or disappears into the river of history. When I think about it, I’ve replayed this same game hundreds of times over all these years. I don’t mind the fatigue. I just want a worthy opponent. Five thousand years ago, we faced floods just like the ancient Egyptians. Four thousand years ago, we worked with bronze just like the ancient Babylonians. Three thousand years ago, we pondered philosophy just like the Greeks. Two thousand years ago, we fought across the world just like the Romans. One thousand years ago, we were as wealthy as the Arabs. And now we’re competing with the Americans! For five thousand years, we’ve remained at the world’s gaming table, while our opponents have changed several times over!
We have existed for five thousand years, and we will continue to exist for another five thousand, perhaps forever.
The rhythm of the plot is comfortable, the foreshadowing is laid out naturally, and it's super fun to follow~
The structure is clear and looks good.
Awesome, full of praise, immersive
