One-on-one romance, happy ending, a blend of sweet and angsty. Nine-tailed fox demon lord × aloof immortal lord, a heart demon enters the picture, cozy everyday moments, and the occasional steamy scene. Come along and enjoy without overthinking it.
Pei Yunci, the demon lord, has been in a foul mood lately.
It’s not because the Three Realms are on the brink of chaos again, or because her subordinates are plotting rebellion again.
It’s because the aloof immortal lord who kept her imprisoned for thirty-seven days now clings to her every day, begging to touch her tails.
“Just once.”
“You said ‘just once’ yesterday too.”
Yesterday was yesterday. Today is today.”
Pei Yunci gazed at that cool, otherworldly face before her and fell into deep thought. Wasn’t this supposed to be an aloof immortal lord? Weren’t they supposed to follow the heartless path?
How come she’s clingier than I am now?
Worse still, the immortal lord’s heart demon had shown up too, saying it wanted to join in.
“Ever heard of twice the fun?”
Pei Yunci: ...
Could she still make a run for it?
Oh, no. The Immortal-Binding Rope was still in the other woman’s hands.
[The serious version]
This is a story about “imprisonment” and “being imprisoned.”
One hundred and forty years ago, she was a menial disciple of the Canglan Sect. Just to see the aloof immortal lord once, she walked alone for a whole month.
One hundred and forty years later, she was a demon lord renowned throughout the Three Realms, imprisoned in a cave by that same aloof immortal lord with an Immortal-Binding Rope, meteoric iron chains, and Soul-Devouring Nails.
She thought it was revenge.
Until the immortal lord bowed her head, buried her face in the crook of her shoulder, and said:
“I’m sorry I came so late.”
It turned out she wasn’t the only one who had been imprisoned.
That heart had been held captive by her for a hundred and forty years.
Some of the content looks a bit like a running account, and some parts should be described in more detail, but it's okay to watch.
It feels really good. Compared with many books, too few people have read it. I feel like good works are not appreciated.
Very beautiful, well written
The characters are drawn very delicately
