Li Xiang, a student athlete at City No. 1 High School, transmigrates to a post-apocalyptic wasteland.
No special powers, no connections, no influential backers. All he has is a crazy rabbit chasing him across the wilderness. At the critical moment, the System comes online:
[Congratulations, you've obtained: Jesus's Lighter (Heaven-tier)]
[Congratulations, you've obtained: Second Senior Brother's Bottomless Stomach (Spatial Talent)]
[Congratulations, you've obtained: Red-Rumped Monkey's Iron Cudgel (Mystic-tier, with a curse: you must scratch your butt after using it)]
Li Xiang looks at the cudgel in his hand. It flies on its own, turns into a back scratcher that makes him itch, and requires him to sleep in a tree. He falls into deep thought.
Is this System kind of a rip-off?
Later, he discovers that it gets even worse: a torch that burns corpses, a kasaya that makes him invisible but glows at midnight, and a System that only ever replies “Random” or “No comment.”
But who is he? He's a successor to socialism, a young man with four virtues: ability, conscience, food to eat, and water to drink.
He develops as a lone wolf, farms by the lake, meets a fairy, tames a holy hound, and builds the wasteland's first “Sunward Village” from scratch.
Then the True God Cult arrives. So does the Buddhist Cult, along with the Mechanical God Cult, the Loyalty and Righteousness Cult, and the Orc Cult.
Li Xiang looks at the pit full of divine artifacts, then at the more than thirty villagers behind him waiting for a meal. He silently takes out the lighter:
“System, can you make this curse go off in a targeted blast?”
[System notification: Ran...]
“Random my ass!”
