Great Ming: No Hanging for Me. Where's My Italian Cannon?

As Wang Cheng'en wept and hung up the white silk, ready to send His Majesty to his death, the emperor slapped him flying and shouted, “Hang myself? No way in hell! I've spent my whole life fighting with the odds stacked in my favor. This is nothing!”

Li Yunlong, a legendary general from another era, has transmigrated into the body of the Chongzhen Emperor of the Ming Dynasty, bringing his full measure of brutality and bandit swagger as he takes charge of this broken empire!

He awakens the heaven-defying support ability, the God of War Aura. Not only can he personally command troops and lock their morale at one hundred percent, he also comes with an unbeatable, map-wide instinct for war. Loot the enemy, and the spoils are multiplied tenfold!

The rebel army acting cocky? He leads the way with urban warfare traps, using crude homemade cannons to blow their vanguard to pieces!

The Eight Banners think they're invincible? He abandons the city walls and has the entire Ming army break into small units, using land mines and tunnel warfare to keep Hong Taiji awake all night!

The court's so-called upright officials denounce him for disgracing the imperial dignity. He waves a hand and has every dissenter's family seized as hostage soldiers and sent to the front!

Dressed in the most magnificent imperial robes, he carries out the most bandit-like schemes, eating great chunks of meat shoulder to shoulder with common soldiers and crushing centuries of rigid hierarchy in the Ming Dynasty!

Watching a million foreign invaders flee in terror after being blasted by homemade explosives, the savage Ming emperor wipes the blood from his sword and declares, “On my turf, even a dog has to stand at attention! Long live the Ming army!”
