In 1644 AD, Emperor Chongzhen listened to the advice of Prince Zhu Cixiang and moved the capital to Nanjing before the peasant army invaded Beijing. Later, he subdued King Chuang and others through political means, thus avoiding the demise of the Ming Dynasty, and history entered another branch. After the war, the national territory started from the Transkhgan Mountains in the north, including Sakhalin Island, to the Nansha Islands in the south, to the Sea of Japan in the east, and to the Karakoram in the west. In the 18th century, the national government was changed to a constitutional system. At the beginning of the 19th century, the Ming Dynasty, as a traditional land-based country, gradually began to develop in the direction of paying equal attention to both sea and land. This story begins in the 19th year of Jinghe (1835 AD).
