In the summer of 1998, a female corpse floated from the Qingjiang moat. Interpol Yan Ke discovered the Shanghai brand watch on her wrist at the scene - "678" was engraved on the back of the dial. In the same river eight years ago, another female corpse was wearing a watch engraved with "245". The two cases were separated by more than a thousand days and nights, but they overlapped surprisingly in details.
That case has not yet been solved, and the person in charge was Yan Ke's transferred master. When he opened the dusty file, he found that a line of key information had been deliberately crossed out in the autopsy report from that year. What's even weirder is that the newly deceased person looks almost exactly like the woman eight years ago.
The rainwater overflowed the river bank, and the cry of cicadas made people panic. Yan Ke began to trace the two numbers engraved on the back of the dial, but found that he was stepping step by step into an abyss that spanned the ages - some secrets had been sunk at the bottom of the river for too long, and it was time to surface.
The truth is always hidden in the deepest part of the human heart, and that place is darker than the bottom of the moat.

Like it. It's short and concise in the fast-paced era. The content is profound and different from previous novels. It's really mysterious. It's the first time I've seen such a case.
A wonderful and unparalleled novel, so beautiful
It sounds good. I love listening to novels about solving crimes.
Very good. I heard it was great.
Lively, interesting, and wrong!
There's baggage, but it's a bit shallow.
The storyline is compelling and engaging
