In the world of technology, the energy supply is monopolized by giants, leaving ordinary people with only heavily polluting, inferior fuel. In the world of cultivation, high-purity spirit stones are controlled by the sects, leaving those with wasted spiritual roots struggling just to survive. When there are only enough resources for a select few, “the strong prey on the weak” becomes the old world’s default rule, much like certain corners of reality where capital and power distort everything, and the pressure to survive crushes fairness. But the appearance of the luminous patterns in the story changes the paths of the two protagonists’ lives. Their victories truly begin with their longing for a better world. When the people at the bottom of the Myriad Worlds protect concrete joys in their own ways, like “playing beneath the spirit tree” and “free energy,” the darkness of the old world will crumble from within. As for whether corruption might take root in the new world, perhaps, like a spiral rising upward in reality, the new system will remember “the light of fireflies” and be brought back on course whenever it threatens to stray, by those who still believe in “a light shared by all.” After all, those who have lived through darkness know best how to protect the light. What do you think those who protect the light will do to remind those who come after them not to forget the past?
The line drawing is very delicate, but the pace is not as fast as the text, but it is rare to take a break. I have read too many novels, that is, reading the first few chapters. I no longer have the energy to stay up late to read novels as a child. This year, I am 27. My first novel is Stars Change, hahaha. Do you have the same book friends?
