My name is Chen Qing, the last inheritor of the Azure Lantern lineage.
An azure lantern can illuminate the realms of yin and yang, and guide the souls of the dead across the ages.
The loyal spirits of the Warring States, lonely ghosts of the Qin and Han, heroic souls of the Three Kingdoms, wronged spirits of the prosperous Tang...
History books record only victory and defeat. I, however, guide the people within history.
They died with grievances, their obsessions unresolved,
so I seek their relics, fulfill their wishes, suppress evil spirits, and bring peace to the dead.
When the lantern lights, it reveals a thousand years of the past;
when it goes dark, it lays to rest the regrets of all ages.
The world reads history to understand the rise and fall of dynasties.
I hold an azure lantern and shine a light on every injustice, past and present.
