I Have a Beggar Master

There was a beggar at the entrance to the village, and he was blind to boot. He spent all day babbling nonsense, often muttering that he had once slain a god with a single sword strike. Yet he could barely make it a few steps toward the old pagoda tree. He claimed he ate no grains, living only on the essence of heaven and earth, but he would fight the dogs for a single bite of food. He said he had given a pair of divine eyes to someone destined to receive them. No need to think twice: he was just trying to fool us kids again. One day, I accidentally discovered the old beggar's true identity. He told me I had two choices: kill me to keep his secret, or take him as my master.
