The protagonist, Zhou Qiang, was originally an honest network administrator who just wanted to live a stable life. He met several lower-level brothers in a crowded Internet cafe. From young people earning a living honestly, they gradually turned into low-level gangsters who kept each other's secrets and struggled to survive.
