The Seventh Path

Deep within the Eye of Heaven, a signal perfectly matching the sixty-four hexagrams of the I Ching comes from the Boötes Void.

At the moment when Ling Yi, a 22-year-old heir to the Yi tradition, casts a divination with yarrow stalks and his reading resonates with the signal, the “Fragment of the Origin of the Way of Yi” within him awakens.

From then on, he sets out on a solitary path, evolving from a Level 0.7 human into a Level Seven civilization. Over a million years, he crosses the stars and undergoes nine leaps in civilization: the union of yin and yang, the unity of the Three Powers, the Four Symbols’ mastery of time, the Eight Trigrams’ expansion into realms, the return of the sixty-four hexagrams to their origin, the transformation of time and space, and the return of the Taiji to its source.

One person is a civilization; a civilization is the Way of Yi.

When the universe is on the brink of destruction in chaos, can he join the Taiji Guardians and attain the ultimate truth: “Yi contains the Taiji”?
