Transmigrated to Ancient Times: I Make a Fortune Building an Inn for Women

Keywords: Heartwarming and healing | Development | Farming | No romance | Ensemble cast of women

On a rainy night when she was diagnosed with cancer, Shen Qing, a 40-year-old veteran HR professional, transmigrates into an ancient era torn apart by war. From the start, all she has is a dilapidated house and the “Sanctuary of All Things.” She refuses to get bogged down in infighting and uses modern management techniques to turn the ruins into an inn. Here, a crude butcher woman becomes head of security, a famed courtesan disfigured in an accident reinvents herself as public relations director, and a divorced matriarch rises to become the administrative CEO. There is no harem infighting or rivalry among women, only women helping women. They earn their dignity through hard work and heal their wounds with kindness. This is an experiment in female solidarity across time, and a guide to self-reinvention for every woman who feels lost.

This is a chaotic age where the Ming Dynasty is not quite the Ming, and the Qing Dynasty is not quite the Qing.

Imperial authority is waning, natural disasters strike year after year, and the land is cracked like an old farmer's hands. The capital lies only a hundred li away, but this place, known as “No Man's Land,” is notorious as a haunted region.

To the north are roving bandits; to the south, clans that eat people. Caught between them is a ruined inn abandoned for who knows how many years.

Legend has it that the place is haunted, and no one who enters ever comes back alive.

That is, until today, when a new soul took over.
