The sons of Qiantang carry on the legacy,
Holding the southeast and achieving great deeds.
They protect their lands and people, follow their ancestors’ teachings,
Lighten taxes and duties, and encourage sericulture and farming.
Three thousand homes were given up, and a pagoda rose;
A single thought of returning to the fold united the realm.
Where incense curls at the ancient Qian Shrine,
The praises of peace are still sung to this day.
