[Fighter Pilot + Uplifting + Hardcore Aerial Combat]
I dreamed of becoming a pilot as a child. I wrote this novel to console myself.
In 2040, at a remote desert test site in northwest China, a bizarre accident strikes during an extreme test flight of the sixth-generation J-50 aerospace demonstrator. Ace test pilot Lin Mo brings the aircraft down in a landing that pushes human limits, but the black box data is deleted and the accident is ruled pilot error. Overnight, he goes from a rising star to a disgraced pilot grounded from flight.
A transfer order sends him into exile at the military’s most marginal unit, the “dumping-ground squadron”: the Falcon Test Squadron. It takes in hotheaded pilots, scrapped equipment, and dangerous experiments, and is widely regarded as the place where blame gets dumped. Su Qingyuan, an AI chief designer parachuted in from elsewhere, arrives with the grief of losing her father and a cold set of principles. She and Lin Mo clash over man and machine. Her father, who died in the line of duty, was the chief test pilot who met with an accident alongside Lin Mo three years ago.
An unknown electromagnetic pulse reappears over the South China Sea. An alien-level unmanned fighter breaches Chinese airspace. A badly damaged J-50 takes off by force, intercepting the enemy at knife point, only for the enemy aircraft to self-destruct. The airbase is attacked in the dead of night, a mole lurks within, and classified files are altered. A conspiracy spanning three years gradually comes to light.
Lin Mo leads the scattered Falcon Squadron as they hone their edge in desperate circumstances, using human-machine coordination to fight the abyssal AI forces of the mysterious organization “Ghost.” From outcasts condemned by all to blades guarding the skies, they tear through layers of darkness and expose the bloody truth behind the test-flight disaster.
As the age of AI dominance over the skies arrives, can the faith and passion of human pilots pierce the abyss and protect the vast skies over their homeland? The Falcon has spread its wings, and the blade is about to leave its sheath. This is the story of China’s aerospace guard
The imagination is big, the world view is big, the characterization is more three-dimensional but the description needs to be more vivid. I will work hard, please [please pay attention][add one to the bookshelf]
