Witch Trial: The Survivors’ Aftermath

[The Witch’s Judgment of the Magical Girls][Original Characters][Spoiler Warning]

“There’s a witch among us.”

Tenkai Yukirana had been living a peaceful life, but now she had ended up in an unfamiliar prison rife with undercurrents. Whether she was lucky or unlucky, there were thirteen other girls there just as bewildered as she was. No one knew how they had been captured, and no one told them why they were there. Even when their time in prison would end was a mystery?!

In this place, where both the food and the clothes were bizarre, an even more bizarre owl suddenly appeared and told them that one of their number was a “witch” who posed a threat to society. The already chaotic prison became even murkier. As the girls around her died one after another from “witchification,” Tenkai Yukirana finally realized that she might be able to survive thanks to her “innate magic.”

In the end, Tenkai Yukirana became a survivor. But as she looked at the traces left behind by her companions and at herself, transformed by “witchification” beyond recognition, she resolutely raised the hand holding her gun. Just before she could find release, she heard the voice that had first opened the path to despair.

“...Hello, everyone. I’m the warden...”

Wait, what do you mean this batch failed and you’re preparing the next one?
