The Sword Lord of the Nine Heavens Continent

The ordinary young Ye Chen lives with the Ye family in Qingzhou City. Born without a spirit pattern, he is regarded as useless. At his sixteenth-year coming-of-age ceremony, the family’s spirit-testing stone suddenly shatters, and he is banished to the back mountain to reflect on his mistakes. In the ancestral shrine, he accidentally triggers an ancient sword soul, awakening the lost Taichu Sword Pattern and inheriting the legacy of an ancient sword cultivator.

As his cultivation advances, Ye Chen discovers that his origins are mysteriously tied to the War Between Gods and Demons, and that fragments of memories from another era lie sealed within him. To uncover the truth, he leaves his family and ventures across the Nine Heavens Continent, meeting heroes from all walks of life and becoming caught up in the power struggles between great factions.
