Hearing the Little Tomato Noodles

Hearing is an inspirational coming-of-age novel starring deaf and mute characters. The book is 320,000 characters long and divided into 50 chapters. It follows the growth of its protagonist, Lin Xiaoxi, while weaving together the struggles of a group of deaf and mute people. They cannot hear sounds, but use their eyes to "see" the colors of the world; they cannot speak, but use their hands to "tell" the dreams in their hearts. From insecurity to confidence, from receiving help to helping others, from being unknown to living life to the fullest, this is the story of people whose lives were muted by fate, yet who played the strongest melody of all. ## Character List - **Lin Xiaoxi**: The protagonist, born deaf and mute.
