I Run a Public Service Hotline in the Supernatural World

This world is twisted. People in mirrors move half a beat too late, elevators at midnight stop on nonexistent floors, and sometimes there’s something at the end of the hall, staring at you with a smile. My job is to deal with these things. I’m a hotline operator at the Abnormal Incident Response Center, employee number 037. When citizens call, I tell them how to survive. Until one day, I heard my own voice on the phone: “037, have you forgotten? You died three years ago.”
