Su Qingyuan, a modern office worker who died suddenly after staying up all night, opened her eyes to find that she had become the vicious supporting character with the same name in the palace intrigue novel she'd complained about before bed. The original owner was spoiled and foolish. Shen Ruowei, the seemingly gentle but actually devious heroine of the original novel, had framed her, and she had just been thrown into the Cold Palace for the crime of “witchcraft and curses.” She was on the verge of death. According to the original plot, she would suffer endless torment in the Cold Palace and die a miserable death, while Shen Ruowei would trample over her corpse, bask in favor, and eventually become empress.
Faced with a dilapidated palace full of drafts, stale, stinking food, and palace servants who made no effort to hide their contempt, Su Qingyuan hugged herself against the cold wind. But just as she was about to despair, a cold mechanical voice sounded in her mind: [Ding! Strong will to survive and ambition to turn the tables detected. The “Heavenly Empress System” has successfully bound itself to you! Host Su Qingyuan, welcome to the heart of the power game.]
With the System's support, the heroine carefully advanced step by step, eventually becoming an empress and ruling the world.
