Modern human civilization is not a natural evolution, but: 12,000 years ago, the old rulers and alien gods once ruled the earth, and humans were their "experiments, sacrifices, and observation objects." A group of beings called the Ancient Gods (not good people, only law-abiding) launched a sealing war, driving most of the old rulers into deep seas, underground, and alien spaces to sleep. In order to prevent humans from touching taboos again, the ancient gods erased 99% of the records of prehistoric civilization, leaving only myths, religions, and symbols as reverberations. The seal is not eternal - when the stars return to their alignment, all the rulers will wake up and the earth will return to the "Dark Age"
