After transmigrating to 2004, Lin Man only wants to stay in his courtyard house and enjoy a quiet retirement: a cup of tea and a pack of cigarettes.

But the down-on-her-luck tenant he kindly takes in turns out to be the future “Nation’s First Love,” who ran away from home, along with her fiery-tempered mother, a famous songstress!
