Telling legal stories from a female perspective not only focuses on the case itself, but also on the people behind the case: the mother who is worried about the water pipes in her hometown, the daughter who is waiting to be picked up in kindergarten, and the client who tries to maintain his dignity in court and has red eyes when he walks out of the door.
Pyrotechnics + professionalism
The law is cold, but life is hot. The story takes place in an ordinary community like Chengbo Garden, on the homestead of my hometown, between the office where I work overtime late at night and the cram school on weekends. The professional details are solid, but never reject others.
Unit drama + character growth
Each episode is a stand-alone legal story and can be read independently. But as the stories accumulate, Shen Yan's image gradually becomes fuller: how she grows from a "lawyer who follows the script" to a "lawyer who understands people's hearts", and how she re-recognizes herself and life through "defenses".
