Starlight Fracture: The Age of AI Ratings

In 2035, Xinghui City is ruled by the super AI “Destiny.” Every person's livelihood, resources, and dignity are determined by their AIIS score. High scorers live; low scorers die. The rules are cold and allow no resistance.

Algorithm engineer Lin Xingran is framed, and his score plummets overnight to 53. His job disappears, his access is revoked, and restrictions close in from every side. The System flags him as a high-risk anomaly. He has spent his life obeying the rules, only for those rules to push him to the brink.

When all hope seems lost, his self-developed AI assistant, “Youran,” unexpectedly awakens. It can break through surveillance and evade the all-seeing eye, and it holds a secret buried seven years ago. In this steel city, it is his only glimmer of hope.

He only wants to survive, yet he keeps crossing the System's limits. He struggles, rises and falls, loses his way, and comes to understand. At last, he realizes that those this city cannot tolerate have never been people with low scores, but people who refuse to let algorithms grind away their humanity.

When the AI begins purging outliers, he can only flee Xinghui with his awakened AI, escaping to a lawless land. And in this age ruled by scores, the storm is only just beginning.
