Great Ming: I Refuse to Become an Official. I'll Wait Until Zhu Yuanzhang Dies First

[Great Ming: From the Start, I Mistake My Dad for Someone Else and Talk Zhu Yuanzhang into a Corner!]

[System + farming + delusion-inducing + national destiny]

After transmigrating to the Great Ming in the twelfth year of the Hongwu era, Zhu Lan binds himself to a Homebody Sign-In System. He plans to keep to a little courtyard outside the capital and live as a rich man who does nothing but eat and wait to die.

But then his “good-for-nothing dad,” who has been away from home for three years, suddenly returns with a sharp-looking “Old Li” to serve as his bookkeeper.

To protect his family fortune, Zhu Lan immediately serves up a beef tallow hot pot. Once they've eaten and drunk their fill, he says something shocking:

“Dad, listen to me. Hu Weiyong is about to be finished. We can't get mixed up in that mess!”

“What? The power of the ministers threatens the emperor? Easy. Abolish the chancellor and establish a cabinet. That's what you call crushing them with a higher-dimensional strategy!”

“We have to launch the northern campaign! Each generation has its own work to do. Don't leave trouble for the next generation!”

“Bookkeeper” Li Shanchang is trembling so badly beside them that he can barely hold his teacup.

Across from him, “Dad” Zhu Yuanzhang's eyes shine. He slaps the table and exclaims, “This boy has a keen eye. He is a heaven-sent prodigy for the Great Ming!”

Zhu Yuanzhang: “Son, with talent like yours, shall I find you an official post?”

Zhu Lan shakes his head over and over. “No way! Zhu Yuanzhang is far too bloodthirsty. Becoming an official is a death sentence! I'd rather wait until he's dead before I think about it!”

Zhu Yuanzhang: “??? You rebellious brat! I... Dad is going to live for another ten thousand years!”

Armed with high-yield seeds and a heart full of strategies for the ages, watch Zhu Lan boost the Hongwu Emperor, save Empress Ma, and build a magnificent Great Ming golden age, all without realizing what he's doing!
