Ji Lingyao, 27, is the aloof, acclaimed actress everyone in the industry admires. No one knows that her gentleness is a mask, and every “chance encounter” with Shi Jinheng is carefully planned.

Shi Jinheng, 22, is a swaggering scene-stealer onstage and clingy and straightforward in private. No one knows she has had her eye on Ji Lingyao since she was 16. She entered the entertainment industry and fought her way to become a top-tier star, all for this long-planned encounter.
