Wait, Do You Need a License to Visit the Human World?

My name is Yan Yu. I’m a two-hundred-year-old python spirit, and I’ve just reached adulthood. My greatest wish in this life is to venture into the human world. At long last, the wars were over, and I no longer had to worry about being boiled into soup. But when I got to the Bureau of Demons, I found out that you need a license to enter the human world. There are written exams, interviews, and tests of shapeshifting stability. If you fail, you can’t go. Even worse, my fifth brother, a talkative, sharp-tongued six-tailed fox, was dragged along by our eldest brother to study with me until I graduate. On the first day of school, I got so carsick I turned into a dried-up snake. On the second day, my fifth brother laughed at me all day. On the third day… Oh, well. I’m already here, so I might as well go to class. A warm and funny story about how you need a license to enter the human world.
