On the very first day after transmigrating into the role of the vicious female supporting character, Jiang Suisui received a countdown to her death.
In the original story, the male lead, Xie Zhao, was blind and had lost his memory. She took credit for saving his life and tricked him into marrying her.
Once he regained his sight, the first thing he did was tear her limb from limb and grind her bones to dust.
[Time until Xie Zhao regains his sight: 89 days]
Run, she had to run! And take enough money to last the rest of her life!
So she put on a stellar performance as his "devoted, virtuous wife" while secretly selling off watches and paintings to build her escape fund.
Then one day, when her gambling-addict uncle came to make a scene, she finished her tearful performance of "protecting her husband" and looked up...
From the cane in Xie Zhao's hand, pointed straight at her back, came the soft click of a metal mechanism.
The System panel in her mind flashed wildly:
[Death warning: Sleeve dart locked on target]
[Trigger: Your acting was too fake]
Jiang Suisui: ...Is this blind man really blind, or is he faking it?!
And beneath the bandages, a pair of clear, bright eyes watched her brilliant performance with amused interest.
