The Dark Eclipse gnaws at the remains of civilization.
Chen Shi, a former emergency doctor with an infected left hand, was trapped in the darkness of the isolation point. When order collapsed, he used scalpel-like rationality to dissect fear, and used mathematical models to calculate every glimmer of hope.
Before a virologist completely mutates, he puts a blood-stained notebook into his hands:
"This is not a plague... It is a 'purification'. Professor Lin's research at the observatory is the last fire for mankind."
With this heavy trust, he embarked on the road home through hell with a nurse who was bitten but not mutated.
The Dark Eclipse, the cannibal gang, the remaining army... Every step of the way is torturing the bottom line of human nature. He gave up crying children and took over bloody weapons.
When he finally returned home and embraced his wife and children in the Sky Fortress, the cold reality immediately crushed the short-lived warmth:
Supplies were running out, the wounded were wailing, and regular knocking sounds came from the roof - that was not a cry for help, but a prelude to hunting.
Deeper darkness is coming.
The Dark Eclipse begins to work together, forming a lair. The mysterious "hive" signal envelopes the sky, and the response from the observatory is always a dead silence.
The virus evolves, and the Dark Eater forms society.
Human beings retreated to the last corner.
Chen Shi must make a choice: should he stick to this crumbling fortress and wait for the nihilistic rescue; or should he lead these dozen old, weak, women and children into the unfathomable darkness to find the "ark" that may not exist at all?
The embers will be extinguished, and the night will be dark.
And they must learn to burn again in complete despair.

As a bookworm with 22 years of experience in reading books, I have been hospitalized for more than ten days this time. My body feels uncomfortable and my heart feels empty. This old bookworm is in a book shortage and can't read anything, so I start writing something on my own.
As I write, people become more energetic. I sincerely thank all the masters at Qidian over the years. Your spiritual food made me feel less miserable in the hospital bed and also gave me ideas.
Thanks to the team of "Doomsday Cockroach", thanks to the rigorous system of "Demon Hunter's Notes", and thanks to the grand background of "Global Evolution". . . . . Special thanks to Half-Dead's "The End of America". I haven't read a post-apocalyptic zombie article for a long time. I didn't expect there would be a new one. I almost forgot about this subject, and it brought me back to that passionate era.
This book is a way for me to have some fun for myself, and I hope it can bring you some fun. I'm a newbie, please criticize and point out any inappropriate things, but don't scold me too harshly.
