The Hidden Laws

On a rainy night in Changzhou, a door to the “Abyss” lies hidden.

Lin Yin is an ordinary shopkeeper who runs a “Jack-of-All-Trades Shop,” but a black umbrella with a long handle drags him into a brutal contest between reality and another world. Here, he is a cursed “Gatekeeper” and a hunted “variant,” K117. A pitch-black vortex in his left hand devours distorted shadows, while pale blue patterns in his right purify evil. Every seven days, when the “Threshold Zones” overlap, he must fight to the limit alongside his deranged younger brother, Lin Jin, the mysterious organization known as the “Cleaners,” and the “Scavengers” lurking in the shadows.

When his memories are proven to be fabricated lies, when his loved ones are revealed as pawns in an experiment, and when the entire city becomes vast sustenance for the “System,” Lin Yin must face the truth that he is neither human nor ghost.

This is a desperate struggle over identity, memory, and existence.

In a world woven from lies, only the umbrella in his hand can open up a sliver of truth.
