Reluctant to Let Go in Oblivion, Sober and Drunk in Turns

Carrying the trauma of selective amnesia, Lin Zhilu buried the memories of her youth deep in her heart, only to unexpectedly reunite with Shen Yubai years later. He is the pain in her hazy memories that she dares not touch, the person she desperately tries to escape when clearheaded, and the figure who keeps appearing in her drunken thoughts.

Fragments of memory keep resurfacing, gradually revealing the feelings and parting, misunderstandings and truth of the past. One clings to the memories while trying to forget; the other is consumed by regret even with a clear mind. Between drunkenness and sobriety, they keep pulling away from and drawing close to each other.

When the scars of the past are finally torn open and every regret and debt laid bare, they at last learn to face what is broken and make peace with each other. The longing hidden within their forgotten memories finally ripens into a long-delayed happy ending as time runs out and the flowers fall, allowing their broken youth to finally bloom and bear fruit.
