Becoming Uncle Jiu’s Disciple from the Start

Yuan Ming, a descendant of Yuan Shiming, the Prince of Pingnan during the Southern Song, was born amid a shower of golden light. At the hundred-day celebration, he grabbed a peachwood sword, revealing himself to possess an innate Daoist body. By chance, Mao Xiaofang of the righteous Maoshan sect passed by, recognized the boy's extraordinary nature, and took him on the spot as his personal disciple. From then on, Yuan Ming embarked on the path of cultivating the Dao, martial arts, and medicine. He tempers his body with the Yuan family's ancestral martial arts, drives out evil and slays demons with Maoshan Daoist magic, and saves lives with Daoist medicine. Blessed in childhood, he begins martial arts at three and cultivates the Dao at five. When he comes of age, he takes up his sword to defend the Dao, traveling between the worlds of the living and the dead. In a chaotic age rife with demons and evil spirits, watch as the Prince of Pingnan's descendant becomes the true heir to Maoshan, subdues evil spirits in all directions, and rises to become a Daoist venerable of his generation!
