Tong Qin: Please Wait for Me in the Next Life

[I’ve read so many stories with bad endings, so I decided to write one with a happy ending. This is my first book, and I’ll do my best to keep everyone in character.]

What if Kotoha hadn’t been killed, but had fallen off a cliff and been rescued by the Flower Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps?

After learning about demons, she joined the Demon Slayer Corps, became a physician, and traveled around treating the wounded after battles.

Meanwhile, Doma had always believed Kotoha had died that night. Then, one day, he saw those eyes he yearned for so deeply in the memories of another demon…

Many, many years later, Doma, now the Ice Hashira, still found his experiences over the past decade or so hard to believe.

With him joining the Demon Slayer Corps, they also suffered far fewer losses, and everyone from the original story could have a happy ending.

There will be a modern alternate-universe storyline later: a tragic ending in the past life, a happy ending in the modern era (due to their different lifespans).
