On Douluo Dalu, the power of the stars stirs, while a conspiracy surrounding an ancient fallen star quietly enshrouds the world.
Young Lin Yan grew up in seclusion in the mountains with his grandfather. His only companions were a mysterious wooden token etched with a star pattern and his innate Martial Soul, the Star-Patterned Spiritwood. He knew nothing of his grandfather’s past, but the token’s aura drew the attention of the mysterious Blackvine Pavilion, which had hunted him since childhood, leaving him to wander from place to place.
During a deadly pursuit, Lin Yan and his close friend Su Yue accidentally stumble upon the secluded Qinglan Sect, uncovering the hidden truth about his grandfather, Lin Mo. The seemingly ordinary old man was, in fact, a once-in-a-century prodigy in the power of the stars. Years ago, to protect the method of controlling the fallen star’s core, he pretended to betray his sect and held the Blackvine Pavilion at bay for decades all by himself.
The fallen star’s core holds power capable of destroying heaven and earth. It can help someone break through their limits, but it can also unleash a catastrophe. The Blackvine Pavilion has coveted it for years and is determined to seize the core and rule the continent. The Qinglan Sect has spent a thousand years in seclusion, devoted to protecting the core, but is beset by threats both within and without.
Bearing his grandfather’s legacy and wielding the star-patterned token and Spiritwood, Lin Yan resolutely joins the Qinglan Sect and sets out to cultivate the power of the stars and uncover the truth. He must grow quickly and master the fallen star core’s power, face the Blackvine Pavilion’s relentless pursuit, search for his missing grandfather, and unveil the ancient secrets hidden behind the fallen star.
Guided by the star pattern and accompanied by the Spiritwood, the young man and his close friend fight side by side, using their Martial Souls as blades and the power of the stars as shields. Amid the turmoil of Douluo Dalu, they defend their sect, uphold its noble legacy, and break free of the chains of conspiracy, writing a legendary tale of the Fallen Star Spiritwood!
