[Single Female Lead + Northeast Chinese Folklore + Lu Ban's Secret Arts + Yin-Yang Master + Shamanism + Horse-Riding Immortals]
Chen Yan, the young heir to Shouyi Carpentry in Shenyang, is forced to dabble in forbidden arts from the Yin Register of the Lu Ban tradition after his grandfather's bizarre and sudden death.
The curse-breaking beam in a haunted building from the Japanese puppet state, a Yellow Immortal demanding a title in a mountain village, a secret sacrificial rite to the River God beneath the Songhua River... Behind each eerie case rooted in Northeast Chinese folklore lies a century-old oath to guard the mountain and a deadly deception, woven beneath the dragon vein of Changbai Mountain.
