Su Lisheng was an obscure disciple of Jiuxiao Sect.
She thought her cultivation journey would be uneventful,
but by chance, she picked up Xiao Jiu, a nine-tailed spirit fox with eight hundred years of cultivation.
Murderous intent surfaced on Blackwind Ridge, uncovering the sealed secrets of the forbidden grounds:
Three hundred years ago, demonic cultivators invaded; eight hundred years ago, Qingqiu wept blood.
The Star-Hiding Pavilion seemed to be guarded by Master Yunheng alone,
but in truth, Dharma-protecting elders watched over it openly, while the lingering souls of ancient sages and the Fox Queen's final legacy secretly held the gateway between the human and demon realms in check.
Her master alone passed down to her the supreme inheritance that unites Buddhism and Daoism,
The Great Vow to Guard the Dao: True Scripture of All-Encompassing Dharma,
with five great divine powers: the Heavenly Cycle's Escape-and-Armor Arts, Primordial Five Elements, Seven-String Brahma Melody, Mind-to-Mind Communion, and Mount Sumeru in a Single Thought.
The second season will also bring them into the mortal world.
Her seven senior brothers doted on and protected her without reservation. Lu Jinglan, the young sect master of the Tianshu Sect, devoted himself to her.
Qin Wushuang found redemption after losing her way; Liu Ruoyan took control of public opinion; Nanzhi proved her Dao with blood.
From a girl who was constantly bullied, she rose against the odds,
thwarting conspiracies, restoring order to the sect, eliminating the wicked, and securing the boundary wall,
ultimately becoming the revered Immortal Maiden Jizhen, admired by all three realms.
The Heavenly Dao follows its cycles, and the nine-tailed fox must undergo a tribulation in the mortal world.
She resolutely accompanied her, sealed her memories, and descended into the human realm.
One waits devotedly in the immortal realm; the other searches in the mortal world.
When they meet again, one glance lasts ten thousand years.
In this life, with power that reaches to heaven and earth,
she will continue the unfinished bond from the immortal realm and begin anew a sweeping romance in the human world.
