Chen Ziye was brought up by his sister.
His parents died early, and his sister went to work in a factory at the age of eighteen to provide for his food, clothing, and education. He was reluctant to buy a new pair of cotton shoes.
He was rebellious in adolescence, fighting and skipping school. His sister went to the police station to pick him up in the middle of the night, holding his hand all the way until his bones ached.
Later, when he grew up, he went to other places and came back once or twice a year. My elder sister is old and works three shifts in the supermarket tallying goods, but she still can't bear to eat or wear clothes.
At this new year's end, Chen Ziye returned to his hometown and found that his sister's refrigerator was full of his favorite food, his own pillow was newly bought, and his cotton shoes were worn white.
He thought that no one could bully his sister in this life.
——But what if she gets married?
This is a story about family love, protection and growth, dedicated to the sisters who give silently.
