The historical document decipherer "Tian Wu" received a mysterious commission to decipher the Japanese army's encrypted diary left by his grandfather. He discovered that his grandfather was actually the translator of the scientific expedition team and had an intersection with the Mobone woman "Aji". In order to find out the truth about his grandfather's disappearance, Tian Wu took his diary to the Xing'an Mountains and met "Yuetang", a guide who could sense the miasma. After the two went deep into the inner forest, they encountered "frozen soul" attacks one after another and were blocked by descendants of the Ink Bone tribe. They also discovered that the diary contained clues to the "temperature control core" of the Cold Marrow Civilization. As the bronze fragments gradually gathered, Tian Wu learned that his grandfather pretended to assist the Japanese army in order to protect the core.
