(Based on a true story)
During the Edo period, the Daizhi wreaked havoc and usurped the emperor's throne. Every government official, from top to bottom, was an evil spirit disguised as a Daizhi, and the common people lived in misery.
So a group of folk warriors from all walks of life, devoted to protecting the people, practiced breathing techniques and vowed to slay the Daizhi Demon King.
The protagonist, you could say, was the band of warriors of that era.
But to tell the story, let us follow a little cat warrior as we look into that turbulent, treacherous age of demons and monsters.
To warn future generations and ensure the little cat warrior would be remembered, my ancestor left behind a poem.
It goes:
Red robes sweep the wilds, cold blades honed to gleam; demon shadows tower like mountains, pressing down on the night.
One slash cuts through the mortal world, Amate; a cat's cry shatters the Daizhi gale!
History calls it “Coke Slays the Daizhi”!!!
