Mr. Li's Beloved Wife Is Not to Be Messed With

Ever since his mother died in an accident when he was young, Li Yanzhou developed an emotional disorder and a split personality. He resented his father, even though his father cared about him. From a young age, Li Yanzhou made his way through both the underworld and legitimate society on his own merits, becoming a well-known godfather figure in Jingzhou.

When Li Yanzhou was twenty-two, he met eighteen-year-old Lin Qingxue. She was the only person who could calm him down when he had an episode.

Lin Qingxue had been orphaned as a child and raised by her older cousin. She met Li Yanzhou at eighteen and fell deeply in love with him at first sight, staying by his side for five years.

For five years, Li Yanzhou never promised to marry her, but he also never had another woman by his side.

After five years, Lin Qingxue was exhausted. One rainy night, after a car accident, she asked Li Yanzhou for a promise. His emotional disorder kept him from saying what she needed to hear. Heartbroken, Lin Qingxue left the country with her cousin's help and vanished without a trace.

Only after Lin Qingxue left did Li Yanzhou understand his own feelings. He searched for her for three years but never found her.

Then, during an unexpected business collaboration, he met Lin Qingxue again, now a powerful businesswoman.
