Su Nian accidentally rescues a little black dog, never guessing that it is Xie Yu, the God of War from the Celestial Realm.
As soon as he reveals himself, he wants to take her to heaven and marry her.
She has no idea what's going on, but he appeals to the Celestial Court.
She only wants to become an immortal, but he tells her, “In every life, I'll find you and fall in love with you!”
In their first life, he is an obsessive emperor, and she is a little eunuch disguised as a boy. He grabs her chin. “You little thing, you almost made me think I was into men.”
In their second life, he is a clingy, puppy-like younger brother, and she is a gentle older sister with a career. He holds her close. “You didn't seduce me, sis. I seduced you.”
In their third life, he is a celibate warlord who falls in love at first sight with his younger brother's wife, who has been left alone in the marital bed. He says, “What's so great about being the Second Young Madam? How about becoming the wife of the marshal?”
Across nine lifetimes, he fights for her, snatches her away, and relentlessly closes in.
