Lu Chen, an S University graduate and seasoned “connoisseur of trash games,” finishes his miserable internship and dives headfirst into an immersive Online Game called The Farce-Filled Adventures of the Astral Express, bringing along his childhood friend Shen Yue and his best pal Jiang Feng.

It's a hilarious journey aboard a galactic railway, and a heartwarming (not really) story about how “three max-level troublemakers” turn a perfectly normal game into “the scene of a massive accident.”

It was supposed to be an ordinary gaming adventure.

But things are getting weirder and weirder:

The eerie hint in the loading message: “Don't worry about time passing… In our first-class cabin, you can enjoy the eternal tranquility of time standing still… Let time be our secret.”

A currency you can't buy: The game's hard currency, “Skill Points,” can't be purchased with money. The only way to get them is to “crack the worldbuilding”?

Pain that feels a little too real: Why does getting bitten by a monster hurt more than a breakup?

“Who cares what schemes you've got? If it has a health bar, even a god can be killed. Just let me exploit a bug first.”
