In the final years of the Great Jing dynasty, the land fell into chaos. The Yellow River burst its banks, and bones lay scattered across the wilderness.
In a single night, Shen Ce lost his family and everything he owned, going from a country boy to a quarry laborer.
Whipped and starving, he gritted his teeth and clung to life in the mud.
A fierce general gave him a sword. A court minister offered him counsel. A beautiful woman gave him her heart, and the people gave him their loyalty.
When refugees stormed the camp, he made his name in battle;
when the barbarians invaded, he slew their chieftain and crushed their forces;
when the Prince of Liang grew suspicious of him, he established his own rule in Hexi;
when the Central Plains became a battleground for supremacy, he set his sights on Luoyang!
From common soldier to regional warlord, and then founding emperor.
His iron cavalry swept across the land, and the dragon banner won the people's hearts.
Watch as Shen Ce rises from humble beginnings to build an eternal empire!
