Beyond the Echo Incident

(Superpowers, catastrophe, combat, no harem, no romance. Please note that the story develops slowly.) On a night that feels utterly unreal, Yu Luo wakes on the side of the street in the rain, her head splitting with pain. Any attempt to think nearly makes her faint. Then she discovers that everyone in the city has vanished and all sorts of things have appeared out of nowhere. But when morning comes, everything returns to normal, as if the previous night had been nothing but a hallucination.

Yet Yu Luo can sense that something has changed. Her memories are sealed, her abilities are hidden, and her “other side” takes control of her body at certain times. When the endless downpour arrives, and that highly unusual enemy stands before her, Yu Luo smiles. “No matter how many times this happens, I’ll chop you to pieces.” What she doesn’t know is that her battle with them has already happened many times.

(Just writing for fun, hehe.)
